KBC4 Likely To Be Launched On Big B’s 68th Birthday

July 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Sony Entertainment Television is preparing to launch the fourth season of “Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on the 68th birthday of the show’s host megastar Amitabh Bachchan, which falls on October 11.
Confirming the news, a source from the channel said, “For now, we have this plan but there might be a last minute change. This is a programming and marketing decision and may be taken later in due course of time”.
Ajit Thakur, the business head and executive vice-president of Sony confirmed that the show will surely be launched in October but the date has not been finalized yet. Thakur stated, “We are planning to start the show on Mr Bachchan’s birthday. We need to wait to know the final date exactly. Currently, we are concentrating on short listing the participants. Our phone lines will open on Monday August 2″.
Recently, on the initiation of Amitabh Bachchan, the logo of KBC 4 included the new symbol of rupee.
