Katy’s Wish To Have Hendrix For A Dad

August 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Katy Perry’s mother Mary Hudson dated the late great Jimi Hendrix guitarist in the 70s, for a short period of time. Katy often wonders, as to how life would have been, if she was the daughter of Hendrix.
Katy reveals that she tells her mom, that she could have been a Hendrix, only if Mary wasn’t that prude with him. She does miss being Hendrix’s daughter.
However, as much as she misses being Jimi’s daughter, she also understands the fact that both the late guitar god and her mother lead a wild life. Both eventually found divinity and decided to split up and go their separate ways. Katy says that she was raised later and has turned out to be okay so to speak. She claims that she did have her “wild’ moments, however she has turned out to be okay.
Katy is currently engaged to British comedian; Russell Brand is reportedly extremely delighted with the fact that how well her own parents get along with her fiancé. She thinks that both her fiancé and her folks bonded so well thanks to the way the ‘Get Him To The Greek’ star has turned his life in a positive and good direction, after a prolonged battle with heroin and addiction to alcohol.
