Los Angeles, July 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sexy musician Katy Perry has posed naked on the cover of her new album, which is called Teenage Dream. The singer who grew up as a staunch Christian as both her parents are pastors would release her new album on August 24.

Perry gave an insight about her parents’ disapproval of her naked pictures on the cover of her album. “Oh my God, what will my mother think?” the 25 year old said when the album’s covers were first released publicly on Wednesday on Ustream live. She added that, “It’s so gorgeous. I’m so excited. I’m nervous. I’m shaking a bit. This will be my first piece of real art.”

The art on the album’s cover was painted by renowned artist Will Cotton and it’s got some perfume. Perry claimed that the album’s cover smelled like cotton candy. She also added that the attention to detail on the set was enormous and the white material used in the background didn’t just feel like cotton candy, but it also ‘smelled’ like it.

Perry has already stripped in the past in her video for “California Gurls,” and also showed some skin in UK Esquire June issue.
