Katy Perry’s preacher mom wants to publish a book on her
March 16th, 2011 - 11:56 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Katy Perry’s preacher mother, Mary Perry Hudson, has admitted that she doesn’t agree with a lot of the career choices that the singer makes.
The mother is reportedly looking for a deal to publish a book about Katy’s early life. Katy and her mother were involved in the Christian ministry. Katy has not hidden that part of her past and had previously spoken about how she spoke in tongues and her evangelism.
Hudson’s agents are looking for publishers for the new book and they promise that it would reveal more details about Katy. The proposal that had been written promises that, “This memoir is her story, in her own words. Mary and Keith Hudson have been Christian Evangelists long before the world every heard of Katy Perry.”
The proposal talks about what the book is all about. Part of the proposal says that Hudson wants to get the opportunity to tell her story on the effect that Katy’s career has had on her evangelistic ministry. The proposal says that the effect has been both good and bad.
Katy is married to Russell Brand and she admitted that before she married she used to kiss other girls.
