Dec 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) While some of the most gorgeous models in the planet walked the ramp in barely-there lingerie, Katy Perry sent the temperatures soaring with her performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2010. The pop star performed the song ‘Firework’ from her latest album ‘Teenage Dream’ and the male audience, even if for a while, might have found themselves distracted from the gorgeous bodies sashaying down the ramp in angelic wings.

The show was taped on November 10 but aired on CBS on November 28. As a part of the promo of the show a video was made where the models lip-synced to the Katy Perry number. Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio were all seen dancing and singing in the video in the backstage and hair and make-up area of the show. The video has been quite a rage on the web in spite of some of the bloggers feeling that the models failed to lip-sync well to the song.

The newly married singer was also the inspiration for some of the hair and makeup of the girls walking the runway of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2010. Lauren Cosenza, Victoria’s Secret makeup artist, said that the vision was very ‘California Gurl’, which is also the title of Katy Perry’s famous hit. She explained that there were lots of sunkissed, dewy skin, glossy lips and flirty lashes that the models sported on the runway. The show was also highly anticipated by the fans of the supermodel Adriana Lima who recently had a baby. Looking smashing in a daring silver-blue bra, the model proved that even the new mommys can look smoking hot if they gave it a try.
