Los Angeles, May 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “California Gurls” singer Katy Perry surprised one and all in the world of showbiz as she sizzled the “Maxim Hot 100″ annual list all the way from the top. Reportedly, the media flanked editor in chief Joe Levy who calls the list to be a “Supernova” moment for the 25 year old girl who is engaged to Russell Band. The editor referred Katy Perry to be a “cool” and “funny” girl who also happens to be a pretty smart skate boarder. Joe Levy feels that it has to be an all rounder package that usually gets the first place in Maxim’s Hot 100 Annual list. He said that it’s easy to be only smart or only beautiful but you get the “hot” tag when you have both of it inside you.

With Katy Perry leading the Maxim Hot 100 List of 2010, the annual traditional list of the men magazine has pulled in rave comments and has spurred up the discussion which usually follows after Maxim draws out their list each and every year. As a matter of fact, the Maxim Top 100 list for the year 2010 witnesses a bunch of pop stars beside Katy Perry who line up as the list moves down.

Gracing the 31st position in the list is Taylor Swift followed by the all time favorite Britney Spears who ranks 54. Christina Aguilera and Nicole Scherzinger made it the 18th and 24th positions respectively. The 2009 Maxim Hot 100 list topper Olivia Wilde of “House” fame now ranks 20 in the 2010 showdown. Angelina Jolie has been snapped at the 38th rank while Emma Roberts got the 78th position along with Kristin Cavallari who heads her by two, at 76.
