Oct 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After their wild Indian wedding that has seized immense attention over the weekend, its now time for honeymoon for comedy artist Russell Brand and pop singer Katy Perry. Following their one of its kind gala Indian wedding, the newly-weds have flown to Maldives for their honeymoon, an insider in the Aman-i-Khas resort in Ranthambore, where they had put up has confirmed to the media.

The source has further added that after the extravagant wedding ceremony and the celebrations that subsequently followed, the 35-year-old comedian and his bride have flown to Maldives on Monday in a private jet from Jaipur. The lavish wedding ceremony in which the pair pledged their love to each other was indeed an attention grabber as it boasted of all the elements that one can expect from an Indian wedding. With celebrity guests such as Jonathan Ross, P Diddy as well as David Walliams present along with the close friends and family of the couple, the celebrations went on till the wee hours of Saturday night. However, an uninvited guest also ventured into the venue, a tiger named T24 although later it was shooed off by the resort guards with much difficulty.

In the meanwhile, a source in the resort has revealed to the media that Russell Brand along with the 26-year-old pop singer wife throughly enjoyed their experience in India as well as the traditional Indian way in which they tied the knot. The power couple took to Twitter to confirm the news of their marital nuptials in which the newly-weds wrote “We did!”
