June 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A slip of tongue during an interview by Katy Perry gave rise to rumors saying that she might already be married to comedian Russell Brand. The couple who were supposedly due to get married later this year had announced a grand public wedding ceremony earlier. The rumors that have started suspect Katy Perry and Russell Brand to have married secretly away from public glare.

During the interview, Katy Perry talked about Russell Brand positively and said that life is never dull with him. The slip up followed the statement when she said that this was the reason she married him. Finding the audience and the show host stunned she realized her mistake and rectified the statement immediately to make it future tense. The little goof-up was enough to send rumor mills all over the world into an overdrive. Katy Perry gave several other hints throughout the interview. The most obvious one was calling Russel Brand’s mother her mother-in-law. Katy later refused to comment or clarify about the rumors of the secret marriage.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand met at an award ceremony in 2009 and hit it off immediately into what turned out to be a whirl-wind romance. The couple got engaged during a trip to India within four months of dating. They also announced their wedding plans after the engagement. Katy Perry has also asked her good friend Rihanna to strip for her bachelorette party, according to sources. Russell Brand has also been vocal about his love for the ravishing musical artist who has also topped the list of worlds hottest women.
