London, Aug 4 (IANS) Pop singer Katy Perry has made history after making it to the top of US pop charts with her fifth single from the album “Teenage Dream”.
The singer has become the first to have five number ones from the same album to rule the US Billboard Pop Songs Chart after her latest track “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” reached the top spot, reports contactmusic.com.
If she reaches the top of the older Hot 100 list later this week, Perry will match late pop legend Michael Jackson’s “Bad”, which generated five top-hitting tracks back in 1987.
