Katy Perry, Lady Gaga lead MTV EMA nominations

London, Sep 21 (IANS) Singers Katy Perry and Lady Gaga are dominating the MTV European Music Award (EMA) with five nominations each.
The singers are up against each other in the best pop, female, song and video categories, with Gaga also up for best live act and Perry nominated for best world stage performance, reports bbc.co.uk.
Singer Eminem is competing for four awards including best hip hop, male, song and video for his collaboration with Rihanna on hit single “Love the Way You Lie”.
R&B star Usher has also has three nominations in the best pop, male and song categories.
Perry and Linkin Park are confirmed to perform at the ceremony, which will be held in Madrid Nov 7.
