Dec 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It looks like the American troops were in for a real treat at the ‘VH1 Divas Salute The Troops’ event, as some of the biggest female pop stars graced the stage and red carpet in eye-popping outfits. With stellar performances from the likes of Katy Perry, Keri Hilson and Grace Potter, the night would be etched in the memories of the American troops and the audience for a long time to come.

Katy Perry, who donned three outfits in the extent of the night, gave a patriotic performance at the start. She performed some of her biggest hits that included ‘California Gurls’ and ‘Fireworks’. Wearing a daring red gown that sent the male hearts racing, Katy Perry also kept her sexiest woman tag intact on the red carpet with a short military-themed dress. Keri Hilson, who also gave a memorable performance, sizzled on the red carpet of the event with a pair of black leather pants and a black and gold jacket. She also spoke during her performance and praised the troops for their efforts. She said that if it was not for each and every one of them, the stars could not have been on stage and done what they were doing.

Nicki Minaj managed to shock yet again as she followed up her rather tame red carpet appearance with a trapezium shaped wig during her performance. Snooki and Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino were also present at the event and the Jersey Shore stars were seen as loved by the crowds and the paparazzi as the performers. Kathy Griffin entertained the troops with a bikini on stage that had the audience in splits.
