Katy Perry announces dates for her North American tour

The tour which is dubbed California Dreams 2011 will take the pop singer to about 41 different cities throughout the United States. The tour is scheduled to start from the 7th day of June and her first city is going to be Atlanta, Georgia. She will end the tour in just over two months time on the 14th day of August with a concert in her hometown of Santa Barbara in California.
The singer will however tour the rest of the world before she takes her tour in the United States. She is billed to tour in Australia, Europe and Asia.
She is also scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards which will come off on the 13th day of February. After that, she will officially launch her tour in the Portuguese capital city of Lisbon on the 20th day of February.
Katy made the announcement of her tour dates on the social networking site, Facebook when she made a live appearance on the website. She plans to interact with her fans more on the website during her tour. The tour is sponsored by Schick Quattro for Women.
