London, Mar 7 (ANI): Glamour model Katie Price a.k.a. Jordan could get her divorce from cage fighter Alex Reid as early as May.

Both, Price, 32, and Reid, 35, had agreed their 11-month marriage would end on friendly terms after she filed for divorce last month.

But it has now emerged that Reid had tried to trap Jordan, in a bid to get a piece of her 40 million pounds fortune, by sending her 20 texts asking her if she spent the night with Argentinean Leandro Penna, 25, while in America for the Oscars.

“u moved on huggin an snoggin another man an spending night with him!” the Daily Star quoted him as having written.

Reid told Jordan he still loved her and wanted her back, denying he had been with anyone else. But his messages had been sent just two days after he bedded Aldi catalogue girl Claire Leatherbarrow, 25, in Manchester.

“I knew deep down Alex and I were over months ago,” Jordan said.

“He kept telling me to give him one more chance but every time I did he would let me down.

“I am sure his head has been filled with ways he can make money from our relationship and the easiest way is to slag me off,” she added.

Both are in the middle of a “no-fault divorce”, meaning neither has had to give a reason for the split - and it could be sorted as early as May.

But last week Reid filed for divorce from Jordan, citing her “unreasonable behaviour”.

“Any private communication between Alex and Katie via text should be treated as such,” a spokesman for Reid stated. (ANI)
