London, Jan 2 (ANI): Alex Reid and Katie Price have reportedly flown out to a secret desert island in a bid to save their troubled marriage.

The couple’s relationship has been on the rock since the past few months and Jordan was seen without her wedding ring on several recent occasions suggesting that they’re on the brink of divorce, reports the Daily Mail.

But the troubled couple, who have gone to a hideaway an exclusive resort in the Indian Ocean for crisis talks, have released smiling pictures of their New Year’s stay, according to News Of The World.

The paper reports they released the snaps to scotch rumours that they had already split up.

It’s believed that former Reid and mother-of-three Price have tried to put their arguing on hold for the week long break to attempt to sort through their problems rationally.

Reid is reportedly fed up with the ‘media circus’ surrounding them and has struggled to cope with the fame thrust upon him since they married in Las Vegas in February.

Price meanwhile is struggling to find time for him with her busy career including books, perfume, riding gear and TV projects grows ever more successful.

Both are also said to harbor grudges over their failure to conceive a baby through IVF.

However, Reid’s mum has insisted that their marriage is ‘as strong as ever’ despite the make-or-break holiday. (ANI)
