Katie Leung and James McAvoy bag top Scottish Style Award gongs

Both were honoured for their stylish dress sense at a glittering ceremony at the Old Fruitmarket Gallery in the Merchant City, Glasgow, the Scotsman reports.

Leung was chosen over ‘Ugly Betty’ star Ashley Jensen, Laura Fraser, star of ‘The Flying Scotsman,’ Hannah McGill, director of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and artist Gay Grossart.

McAvoy was chosen over actor Kevin McKidd, comic book and screenwriter Grant Morrison, entrepreneur Mutley and footballer Craig Gordon for the award.

Aimee McWilliams bagged the best designer award and the best high-street shop award went to Top Shop.

Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles took the award for the best restaurant while Bramble and Lulu, both in Edinburgh, won best bar and nightspot awards respectively.

Vicky Featherstone, the director of the National Theatre of Scotland, was honoured as the Tastemaker of the Year.(ANI)
