Katie Holmes to play Jacqueline Kennedy
April 29th, 2010 - 1:34 pm ICT by IANSNew York, April 29 (IANS) Actress Katie Holmes is set to play Jacqueline Kennedy in a mini-series based on the lives of the Kennedys.
The actress has signed on to star as the wife of the iconic US president John F. Kennedy in the “The Kennedys”, an eight-hour mini-series premiering in 2011 on the History Channel, reports people.com.
The cast also includes actor Greg Kinnear who will star as President John F. Kennedy, while Canadian star Barry Pepper will play Robert Kennedy. British actor Tom Wilkinson, who played Benjamin Franklin in 2008’s “John Adams”, will be seen as Joe Kennedy Sr.
