Aug 11 (IBNS) Shock and perplexity greeted the viewers when comedian Kathy Griffin turned up to Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards with none other than Levi Johnston, the 19-year-old daddy to Bristol Palin’s baby.

While strolling on the red carpet hand-in-hand with Johnston, the “D-List” actress, on an attention grabbing date, joked that the two have been an item for quite some time.

However, the distance makes things difficult.

Griffin said: Long-distance relationships are not easy, especially when he’s in his igloo and I’m in my Hollywood tower.”

On the other hand, Johnston appeared less than enthusiastic about being the reality-TV star’s date.

The teen father said: I just, you know, look at her, shut up and do what I’m told.

His son, Tripp, is now 7-months-old.

The outspoken comedian went on to add that while she has been to Alaska before, it was probably a different social atmosphere than what Johnston was used to associating with.

Johnston first made headlines last September when it was announced that his high-school sweetheart, Bristol Palin, daughter to vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin, was pregnant with his child.

Since then, the baby daddy has been dragging out his 15 minutes of fame, appearing on the Tyra Banks Show and posing shirtless with his newborn for an issue of GQ.
