Katherine Kalnes creates ‘Ryan Gosling Pancake’
November 16th, 2011 - 8:11 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Nov 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) How will you like to eat Ryan Gosling each morning? Oops I meant to say Ryan Gosling pancake. OMG Yahoo hired a Chicago-based artist to build a pancake of the famous actor.
The resultant artwork was unveiled by OMG on Tuesday. 25-year-old Katherine Kalnes succeeded in created a replica of Gosling in the plate. The artist used a technique called batter blaster to transform the pancake to the famous face of Gosling. Other ingredients used for the artworks included peanut butter, frosting and raisins.
This is not the first time that Kalnes has turned a celebrity into pancake…literally. OMG first got to know about the existence of Kalnes when she mailed a photo of Justin Bieber pancake to them. Impressed, the celebrity publishing outlet asked her to try her hands on creating one with the image of Ryan Gosling.
The staff of OMG are very happy with the final product that was sent them by Kalnes. Obviously the best part of the whole thing will be when they put the knife through it and start eating the piece up! don’t worry because before they do that, they will take some pictures as reminder.
