katherine-jenkins-a01Dec 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Noted Singer Katherine Jenkins mesmerized the singers on a plane she was in with her impromptu carol concert when the aircraft got grounded. The Welsh performer was accompanied by comedian Kev Orkian and former army officer and singer-songwriter James Blunt. They were headed for Christmas trip. The flight got delayed for several hours and finally it was canceled. Thee 160 soldiers on-board the plane were entertained by her rendition of the Silent Night. Later the pretty singer expressed her disappointment over the canceled flight via popular micro blogging site Twitter. She wrote “Am so gutted - words can’t describe how disappointed we all are. I’m so sorry, it was out of my hands. Will try again asap!” The truant weather was responsible for the flight cancellation she said. The singer has asked her fans to convey their best wishes to the UK army men in Afghanistan. She is sorry that she could not make it there after waiting for long.

Mark Cann the chief executive of British Forces Foundation said that the Force is proud of the singer and her companions who could not reach Afghanistan despite their best intentions. Apart from the performance of her in the plane she also posted some of her images.
