Katherine Heigl wants to adopt a baby from Haiti
June 3rd, 2010 - 5:37 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 3 (ANI): Katherine Heigl has announced that she wishes to adopt a baby from earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
The Knocked Up star became a first-time mother last September, when she and her husband Josh Kelly adopted daughter Naleigh from Korea. And now she plans to expand her family.
Heigl says that being a mum has made her so happy that she wants to bring another child into the family - and she’s considering heading to Haiti to help the youngsters who lost their parents in January’s devastating tremor.
“We would like to have a second child - adopted or biological. We’re not ruling it out.
“Just look at Haiti. They’re so many parent-less children. It breaks my heart. I want to help,” The Daily Express quoted her as telling Germany’s Gala magazine. (ANI)
