June 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Katherine Heigl has announced her desire for another baby.

This time the actress wants to adopt a baby from the earthquake stricken region of Haiti. Katherine Heigl is already the mother of one baby girl whom she and her husband had adopted in the month of September last year.

This child whom she named Naleigh was from South Korea. The actress now plans to expand her family and has announced that she will adopt a second child from Haiti.

Katherine Heigl has expressed her concern for the homeless orphans in Haiti who are now mere victims of the earthquake that hit the country in January this year. She feels for them and wants to help them by giving them a home of their own.

Coupled with that is the fact that she is very happy to play the role of a mother. Motherhood has brought the best moments in her life and Katherine Heigl is thus ready to be a mother all over again. However the actress has not ruled out the option of conceiving herself. She says that all that she wants is a second child irrespective of the fact that the child is adopted or biological.

This means that Katherine Heigl’s 17 month old daughter Naleigh may soon have a small sibling. If the news is true then this will be the second time that the actress and her husband Josh Kelley will adopt a child from a foreign country. Speaking about children Katherine Heigl says that she does not want her own to grow up like a Hollywood star’s child.

Her children will have to earn things and will not get everything from the word go.
