Katherine Heigl Smokes on Late Show With Letterman
September 29th, 2010 - 1:50 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonSep 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As Katherine Heigl was a guest on ‘The Late Show’ with David Letterman, she spoke of her struggle to quit smoking, and the different methods which she had tried. she said she had used gum, patches, and even Chantix, which had “driven her crazy”, but the most effective for her was the “smoke stick” which she then proceeded to pull out and puff, blowing “smoke” out on national television.
Turns out that the smoke was not smoke at all, but was actually water vapor which is supposed to be non-harmful to the people around. The stick contains a small amount of nicotine, and has a jeweled bottom. The tip glows when you inhale, giving the total effect of a cigarette. The purpose of the SmokeStik is to give smokers that repetition of lifting it to the mouth, inhaling, and exhaling.
Letterman eventually tried the stick himself, and stated that it was amazing.
