May 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star Katherine Heigl has revealed that her motherhood has had an impact on her sex-life. The wake up call according to the leggy beauty was when her adopted baby girl threw up on her sexy lingerie. Katherine Heigl is married to Josh Kelley and the couple adopted the 10 month old tot in September 2009 from South Korea.

Since adoption Katherine Heigl has told the media that motherhood is a role she is taking very seriously. The child was born with special needs and had to undergo an open heart surgery. In June when the child was recovering Katherine Heigl said in an interview that the child is fine and healthy and the surgery was successful. She also said that the surgery left behind a scar that probably wont allow her to wear a bikini when she grows up. The Izzy star, 31 attributes her dedication towards her child to her bonding with her own mother. She calls herself a real mama’s girl and the same bond she is looking forward to share with her adopted daughter.

Katherine Heigl has no qualms about sacrificing the time she spends with her husband Josh Kelley and she adds that if the time interferes with their sex life then that cannot be helped and she doesn’t mind it. The star stated that being a parent is very serious work and it helps a person to grow up and mature. Katherine Heigl has also called to attention prospective adoptive parents about children with special needs and how much impact these parents can make in the child’s future.
