Katherine Heigl left red-faced after her wardrobe malfunction at an awards ceremony

Las Vegas, Mar 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The star of the movie ’27 Dresses’ ironically had some trouble with her own red dress, at a recent award ceremony. Katherine Heigl was being honored at the ShoWest awards ceremony in Las Vegas, with the ‘Female Star of the Year’ award. She was being feted for her brilliant work in films like ‘The Ugly Truth’ and ’27 Dresses’, however she managed to create headlines for altogether a different reason.
The 31 years old gorgeous actress was present on the stage to receive the award, when suddenly the strap of her blazing red dress came undone. She reacted fast and managed to save her modesty. However since it was troublesome for her to hold the dress and the erring strap while giving the acceptance speech, so the host of the show Billy Bush came to her rescue. He held the strap while she delivered her acceptance speech.
After that, the ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star rushed backstage to find a safety pin, in order to tuck the strap into its designated space. After fixing up her wardrobe malfunction strap in place, Katherine Heigl went to the photographer’ enclosure to pose for a few pictures with her award.
