Katherine Heigl Confirms That She Will Not Be Returning To ”Grey’s Anatomy”

Oct 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) ”Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl has revealed that she will never go back to the hit show on ABC. She explained in a recent interview that her character does not have any scope of a comeback and though she personally wondered what the character was doing, she did not see any possibility of her returning without some manipulation. Though she said that it was very sad and hard for her but the ”Grey’s Anatomy” chapter was closed.
Katherine Heigl has also said that she missed playing the role of Izzy Stephens. The role saw her skyrocket to fame and soon she got a number of movie offers. Insiders say that she does not want to come back to the TV show as she is focusing on her career on the bog screen now. The gorgeous actress left the show earlier this year and several fans were deeply disappointed. At the time of leaving Katherine Heigl had said that she wanted some time off for her family and her newly adopted child Naleigh. She had explained that after staring a family, all her priorities changed and she re-considered her thoughts on working full time.
Though the network had confirmed that Katherine Heigl will not be a part of the 7th season, Izzy’s love story with Alex was far from over at the end of season 6. Fans were hoping that the actress will be making a comeback later in the show. Katherine Heigl has also a carved a niche for herself in the movie industry with films such as ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘27 Dresses’. Her latest film, ‘Life As We Know It’ is all set to release later this week.
