Genelia and Arun are playing the lead roles in “Katha’ produced by Gangaraju Gunnam under the banner of Just Yellow, introducing Srinivas Raga as director. The film had completed dubbing formalities recently.
The producer says, “So far, Genelia played the roles of chivalrous and innocent girl. However, in this film she is playing an altogether different role, unlike her earlier films. At the same time, we included several commercial elements. The film, as a whole, would be a romantic thriller. It is a different film, and not a regular movie. Genelia’s performance would be like oxygen for the movie. The character had a lot of scope for performance. We will complete all the formalities very soon and are planning to launch the audio during the last week of September. We are making efforts to release the film in October.”
