Sep 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Katee Sackhoff is set to appear on CSI, three years after she was denied the role by “the powers that be”. It ought to be mentioned that Katee had lost the same role to Lauren Lee Smith 3 years ago, when Jorja Fox was replaced on the show. It was obvious then that Katee was going to be given the role, but alas, it didn’t turn out that way.

However after a gap of three years finally it seems that Katee eventually got that role back on the CBS hit series and her first episode is set to hit the screens in November this year.

Katee will play Detective Reed in the series. The “Battlestar” star’s role will depict a Detective Reed as a tough, smart, and feisty investigator without sensitivity.

Meanwhile apart from Katee, there is going to be some more shakeup in the small screen industry as Robert Englund, the horror movie icon, is set to appear on NBC’s “Chuck” as a guest star. Robert will play the role of Dr. Stanley Wheelwright, who is an evil scientist that can make people’s waking life a nightmare. Robert’s appearance will be on the sixth episode of the series’ current season. The episode will be entitled “Chuck Versus Aisle of Terror”.
