Los Angeles, March 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kate Winslet 34, who declared her split from her husband Sam Mendes 44 recently, is making her single status clear to all. Kate Winslet was recently spotted in Los Angeles along with her daughter Mia and was reportedly found not wearing her wedding ring. Though everybody knew about the separation of the star director and actress, the sight caught the eyes of many who did not miss to click the actress without her wedding ring.

The Academy Awards winning actress Kate Winslet got married to Sam Mendes back in the year 2003. According to sources, the couple decided to call it a quit as both of them were too busy with their careers and could not make it out in the home front. Sam Mendes directed Kate Winslet in the 2008 film “Revolutionary Road”.

The respective lawyers of the estranged couple declared in front of the media that the decision was taken with the mutual consent of both the partners. He also mentioned that though they have separated their ways, both Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes will share the responsibility of rearing the kids. She has a daughter from her previous marriage with Jim Threapleton named Mia, who is 9 years old and a 6 year old son Joe from her marriage with Sam Mendes.

Kate Winslet was recently seen vacationing with her kids in Mexico. According to sources, the actress has revealed her intention to leave the house where the former couple stayed together since 2005. Reportedly, she wants to leave the place because the flat bears the memory of the fights that the former couple had in there.
