London, Aug 22 (IANS) The cat is finally out of the bag - Kate Winslet has found love again after splitting from her filmmaker husband Sam Mendes five months ago. The Oscar winning actress was spotted stepping out hand-in-hand with new boyfriend Louis Dowler.
Following weeks of speculation about their friendship, Winslet showed off her new beau as they dined here Friday night at Groucho Club in Soho before heading to Mahiki, reports newsoftheworld.co.uk.

Winslet, 34, looked stunning in a tight low black dress with her hair scraped back in a casual pony tail, finishing off the look with gold hoop earrings and simple make-up. She appeared to be glowing, clearly basking in her new-found love, and affectionately rested her hand on her boyfriend’s leg as they departed in a cab in the early hours of the morning.

The couple is said to have become inseparable in recent months after meeting through mutual friends at a party.

Dowler, 34, has starred in several high-profile modelling campaigns and has modelled for Burberry, Paul Smith and Paco Rabanne.

“They’ve been on lots of dates and get on really well. It’s early days for them but they enjoy each other’s company. Louis has a good sense of humour and really is a lovely guy. He loves to surf and he’s really quite engaging and very down-to-earth,” said a source.

“He’s a good looking guy and gets lots of attention when he’s out and about but he’s not your typical model. Not at all big-headed,” the source added.

Winslet’s romance reports comes five months after she and estranged husband Mendes announced they were separating after seven years of marriage.
