Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes are trying to make their broken marriage work

Los Angeles, July 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hollywood was hit with another split in the series of high profile divorces when actress Kate Winslet and her husband Sam Mendes, a film director announced they were separating and were likely getting a divorce. The Oscar winner Kate Winslet and the noted director Sam Mendes had gotten married in 2003, and they also have a son together – Joe Alfie Winslett Mendes.
New reports indicate that the couple who decided to go their separate ways peacefully, are now trying to find a way to save their marriage and get back together. The Hollywood couple is planning on going for a summer holiday in Gloucester, England and try to work on their relationship.
However the representatives of the couple in a bid to protect their privacy have reportedly said that the couple is not planning on any reconciliation. They are trying to keep things under wraps.
Earlier there were mounting speculations that Kate Winslet had split from her husband Sam Mendes, because of Rebecca Hall. There were reports that the Titanic star was unhappy with their close friendship, as they working together on theatre productions.
