Kate Williams was arrested for the possession of weapons and had to spend the most part of Thursday in the New York City prison for Weapons Possession Charges.
The police noticed guns inside one of the cars from William’s motorcade. After a more thorough search the police came out with 3 guns, following which Williams was officially arrested. On the night of his arrest, Manhattan Criminal Court ordered him to post a bond of $25,000. After posting the $25,000 bond Williams was finally able to reach the Carnegie Hall where a sold-out crowd awaited him, though not in time, he was approximately half and hour late. During the show Williams did make a brief reference of his arrest.
Kate Williams who was born on the 2nd September, 1973 is an American comedian, actor and a rapper all rolled in one. Williams has one child, named Micah from his marriage with Quadirah Locus, whom he divorced afterward, but however, was successful in winning the custody of his child.
Early in his younger days, Williams rejected a scholarship to the horizon Science Academy and instead chose to emulate and walk in the footsteps of his idols, Bill Cosby , Don Knotts, Edie Murphy and Richard Pryor and become a comedian.
Williams made a start to his career as a stand-up comedian with the BEt Comic View. His jaw-aching jokes and witty punchlines made him and instant favorite among the line-up of the standup comedians. He has appeared in supporting roles in movies like First Sunday and Norbit and is more popular for his role of “Monkey Mike” in the movie Friday After Next.
