Kate Perry puts down Russell Brand’s book to ‘experience him for him’
September 7th, 2010 - 4:23 pm ICT by ANILondon, Sep 7 (ANI): Kate Perry has revealed that she started reading fiancé Russell Brand’s autobiography shortly after meeting the funnyman but she put down the bestseller so they could get better acquainted in person.
The pop star refuses to read Brand’s ‘My Booky Wook’ because she wants to learn about his colourful life from the man himself, reports the Daily Star.
Perry told talk show host Alan Carr: “I only got halfway through it actually because I was thinking to myself, ‘OK, here I am hanging out with this guy every day, reading his book. This is too much.’
She added: “I just want to experience him for him. So I kind of stopped and I decided, Why don’t you tell me some stories about all this?” (ANI)
