January 23rd, 2009 - 6:09 pm ICT by ANILondon, Jan 23 (ANI): A friend of catwalk queen Kate Moss died of a heroin overdose as she celebrated her 40th birthday, according to an investigation.
Trans-sexual cabaret singer Zsarday Forde had partied all night with 100 pals in Brighton last October.
Forde was found that dead by another friend with fatal levels of heroin in her body and traces of cocaine.
“I knew she smoked cannabis… but I didn”t know anything about hard drugs. I awoke to find Zsarday cold and stiff next to me,” the Mirror quoted her friend John Agar as telling the hearing.
Coroner John Hooper said that there is no evidence to suggest Zsarday wished to take her own life.
A friend of Forde, who modelled for Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen said, “Zsar was always in the nightclubs in London and around the same crowd as Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. She used to tell everyone that they were good pals.” (ANI)
