Kate Moss Marilyn Monroe-style Banksy portraits for sale
February 20th, 2009 - 1:57 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Feb 20 (ANI): Kate Moss six Marilyn Monroe-style Banksy portraits are estimated to fetch up to 150,000 pounds at Bonhams” Urban Art Sale in London.
They will go under the hammer later this month.
The pictures are reminiscent of Andy Warhol’’s classic image of Monroe, reports the Telegraph.
The prints were produced in a limited edition of 20, in six different coloured formats.
Bonhams said that most were sold individually and this group is one of the few to remain in a complete set. (ANI)
