Kate Gosselin to feature in a new reality show

New York City, Jan 14 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Reality superstar and the estranged wife of Jon Gosselin – Kate Gosselin is all set to star in a new reality show, according to TheWrap. The show is yet to be named but is said to be very different from her previous show – ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’.
According to a source close to the untitled production, the series will depict the former matriarch of “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ as a fish out of water “trying different jobs and tasks and showing how she performs in the different environments.” The new reality show will also likely have an interactive component, with the professions and corresponding challenges being somewhat judged and noted by the audience of the show. “It’s more like Kate Gosselin, firefighter,” noted the production source, “not Kate Gosselin, wife and homemaker.”
TLC said that Kate Gosselin is a celebrity in her own right and doesn’t need anybody else’s support to make it big. She is a star in her own right. “She’s proven herself to be a celebrity in her own right,” TLC told TheWrap. “With the interest she generates, she can fit into any role on her own.” In this show her 8 children and her ex-husband will not feature, as it will be primarily about Kate Gosselin. The yet to be named reality TLC show slated to premiere in late spring or early summer.
