New York, Jan 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kate is extremely happy that one chapter in her life has ended. She is anxious to begin her newfound single life on a new note. And in this endeavor she has gone in for a makeover. After her divorce from Jon Gosselin, Kate is keen to start her life afresh and that also includes getting a costly makeover. She got a makeover from Ted Gibson and sports a very different hairstyle now, from her previous spiky-short crop.

Ted Gibson, the stylist whom TLC filmed creating “Clean Slate Kate,” told RadarOnline.com that Gosselin’s cut would cost close to $7,000 at his salons in New York and Washington. “My haircuts are $950,” he told the gossip site. “The color would have been about $500, and the extensions, which were great length extensions, would probably cost about $5000.”

Angelina Jolie and Anne Hathaway also had makeovers from the top-notch stylist Ted Gibson. He is quite a hard working fellow because according to reports, he reportedly spent approximately 20 hours adding hundreds of extensions to Gosselin’s short hair. However she was very unhappy to say goodbye to her bangs and Ted Gibson had a hard time when the makeover was in progress. He said that while they were working on Kate’s new look, Kate was anxious and around 75% of the time was spend in convincing her.
