Kate Gosselin won’t quit dancing

April 12, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Kate Gosselin, who has had to encounter ruthless criticism on the reality show ‘Dancing With The Stars’ from the adjudicator Bruno Tonioli, has declared that she won’t quit the show and dancing. She has declared that, even though it has been very hard for her to balance vocation and motherhood, she will not give up.
Kate, a mother of eight children, was disparaged by Tonioli in a recent interview. Talking to George Lopez on Lopez Tonight, Tonioli verbalized that Kate is quite horrible as a dancer and even referred to her as crap.
Tonioli went even further with his condemnation and mentioned that they have been witnessing a disaster movie every day in the form of Kate and that Kate has actually produced predominantly catastrophic performances. Kate has responded, in her defense, that it has been very tricky for her but she will not relinquish dancing. She is not a quitter.
This criticism from the adjudicator Tonioli is certainly not wonderful news for Kate. Apart from all the censures for her performances on the show, she is also being disapproved of by her ex- husband, Jon Gosselin, for being an absentee parent. He supposedly is intending to request primary custody of his eight children.
Kate achieved fame as a celebrity on the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, which profiled her and her then husband, Jon Gosselin, as they reared their abnormally mammoth family of eight children.
Kate can take some consolation in the TLC announcement recently that she would be receiving her own show called Twist of Kate. The series will focus on her journeying through the country interacting with mothers who have written her letters about their stories.

The only drama queen on DWTS is Bruno! God what a media whore flammer he is. I’m gay and I’m embarressed by his stereotype personality of the over the hill bitchy ex dancer, is he smoking meth all the time? the guy is so ON and I thought his comments on Kate were unprofessional and he did it purposefully to height the drama and ratings for his show. Now as for Kate, no she is not a good dancer, but she never said she was, I give her props for having the guts to go out there knowing how many haters are going to crash down on her. But word has it that her fans are twittering their hearts out today making sure that all of the Kate Mates vote for her enmasse tonight to keep her on “a minimum of six weeks” says Kate fanatic Debbi Jordan of Austin TX “Kate needs our support and the moms out there don’t like that slutty dancing that Pam Anderson does” It will be an interesting night to say the least. I don’t think Kate should quit, I think she should be voted off already. She can’t dance and she isn’t even trying. I agree with Bruno. She is lousy and the attitude does nothing for her. I thought Buzz danced better than Kate. She should have gone home the first day.

First of all, let me say that I did not see Kate on DWTS.
Kate is VERY LUCKY that she can be a “Stay-at-home-mom”. When my kids were growing up, I had to work 2, sometimes 3 jobs to be able to make ends meet! I think with that many kids, she DOES need to stay home to interact with them on a daily basis. I had to miss out on alot of the things my kids did while I was working..”Just if I could do it all over again..I would have stayed home to be with my kids”. (My husband worked also). Then when they were older, I would have gone to work. KIDS DON’T STAY SMALL FOR VERY LONG!! Spend ALL the time you can with them. b/c before you know it, THAT time has slipped by right before your eyes! GOD BLESS!!

i dont think kate is a celeb. when a camera follows you around that is not acting. if she could act maybe the show wouldnt have been so hard to watch- she is such a rip, i dont know how anyone could live with her for very long

I have watched this show since season 1 and feel that everyone should have a chance to prove themselves. Well, Kate did prove herself, to be one of the worst dancers that has hit this show. She ranks right up there with Kenny M. and Macy Gray. The networks this people are tuning in to see Kate, and that bull!!! NO ONE wants to see her, She should just go home and take care of her family. Look for a real job and quit being a Fame Ho. The only talent she has is to whine, moan and be miserable.

I agree with most - she is not a star, camera’s followed her around that does not make you a celeb!!!! She needs to take care of her kids that she wanted so badly she had “manufactureed” not really God Given, so go take care of them and step out of your fake lime light - you are not a star.

Why are the K.G. supporters making DWTS a popularity contest and not a talent contest, which it was ment to be? The contestants with real talent should be insulted their accomplishments are being equated to someone with no ability except to bear children.
If DWTS was a popularity contest then Buzz should have been awarded the right to stay.
The fix is in; we all know this K.G. will stay until she announces an injury just in time to go on her book tour.
K.G. handlers have EVERYTHING scripted; all the trials and succeses; do not be fooled. And please,, do not for one minute, think, this is all for her kids, what with the staff she employes and the extravagences she enjoys. If K.G. spends five hours a week with her brood I’d be surprised.

First, the show is called “Dancing With The Stars”. Whether you like Kate or not, she is not a “star”. Second, she keeps saying she has to do all these showbiz things to pay for her kids. Just because you have eight kids doesn’t mean you have to live in a million dollar house and spend the money you are spending. If I can’t afford something, I can’t buy it. Your kids are not being deprived by living in a regular house and taking middle-class vacations. And last, she keeps saying she wants to be with her kids and that’s why she flies back and forth to be on Dancing, but now she is going to be on a show where she travels around the country and tries out different people’s lives. Why doesn’t she just live her own life! You had eight kids, now take care of them - not with more money, with attention!! That’s all kids want.

Kate needs to go,dancing is not her thing. I did not think much of the show, Jon & Kate makes eight, I think reality TV shows are to invasive on the children. But since there are so many dumbass’s out there that keep them in the ratings whats next. Kate is lame, and her dumbass husband is lamer. you got to feel sorry for her kids, they don’t have any choices.

Horrible dancer.Diggs attention. Her head got too big for her own good, when Kate and Jon had taken off.What a witch of a person. Needs to be taking care of her kids, not being a flucy lucy. I am a mother of x2 boy’s with add and adhd. I have my older son with possible Autism(Pervssive Development Disorder,or Aspergar). I stay home and am my kids own teacher because I have alot more patients than a regular teacher woul;d have for them. It saddens me for Kate to think of her selfish self. I hope that Jon does get custody of the kids because a drop in mom doesn’t cut it, even when she does get money, she is like the Octo-mom. Wake up and smell the coffee.You are a mom, so act like one, and be one.

a lot of Young people never learne’d social dancing, Kate mabe never had time, she was to busy going to nursing school and get married to Jon who does’nt know how to dance either. I can’t think of anything nicer than dancing used to dance myself,but my husband did’nt care for dancing.
I think it takes great courage of Kate to hang in there it’s the most innocent fun. her kid will be so proud of her because they Love Mom anyway, Bruno is a Cad shame on him. Ann

Kate, keep dancing as long as they keep you. It pisses me off when someone else thinks they can tell you what to do even when your not with them. Neither J.G. or K.G. could ever go back to their original professions. Who would hire them with all the baggage they would drag with them. Both the Gosslins’ have experienced the “rags to riches” story we poor slugs dream should happen for us. Are you asking they go back to freeloading? Can anyone see K.G. being subject to supervision by someone who by definition, is her superior?
K.G.lost the handle on humility
some time ago. Does she still have her nursing licence? I know nothing about renewing a nursing licence in Penna., but K.G. has her calendar full with book tours, dancing lessons, appearing on talk shows, soon to be visiting with personal problems of others nationwide, that if she had time to stay up-to-date with current nursing proceures, going to required semiars, would heavily cut into the few hours she spends with the kiddies, not to mention (but I will) all the cosmetic appointments, the vacations when school is on break, writing books, meeting with the publishers; gawd, this lady has NO time at all, but she still maintains she is a mother first and foremost. HA! You can forget nursing….she has.

As for J.G. getting back to his former job as IT tech to support
his kiddies, he’d have to make a minimum of 1 Million a year. Shoot! He could make that salary being Mr. Mom, if his wife would put it on her payroll of gofers, which is extensive. Just think…a parent
would be home with the kiddies
while mom sacrifices herself (barf) to keep EVERYONE employed
and living the lifestyle they now enjoy. What a saint.
It scares me to think that the kiddies have inherited the genes
