July 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Reality TV star and mother of 8 children, Kate Gosselin has revealed that she plans to release a holiday album. The star who tried her hand at dancing in ‘Dancing With The Stars’ is now keen to show her singing talents to the world. An anonymous record executive has revealed that Kate Gosselin is highly inspired by the classic musical flick ‘The Sound Of Music’ and visualizes herself as the contemporary version of Maria.

Another friend of Kate Gosselin said that reality TV star understands her brand value and is trying to make the best of her ‘15 minutes of fame’. She also said that Kate has the responsibility of putting the food on the table for her 8 kids. Kate Gosselin is however not the first reality star to try her hand at singing, earlier ‘The Real Housewives’ have also released singles. A successful example is Jessica Simpson who released an a single with her sister Ashlee Simpson at the peak of her reality TV career.

Kate Gosselin’s hand at dancing has turned out to be a disaster for the star but her fans are anticipating her songs. She has also said that just like in the movie ‘The Sound of Music’, her vocals will be backed by the voices of her 8 children. According to speculations she will sing religious songs in her upcoming album. No official announcement about the record label, production company or other details of the songs have been announced. Kate Gosselin is presently a part of her own reality series ‘Kate Plus Eight’. She has also written a book called ‘Multiple Blessings’.
