June 18, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Kate Gosselin, the reality TV Star is highly recommended to be the next Bachelorette. But the mother of eight children is not interested in taking up the dating show.

Her representative informed that these are just rumors and Kate is not all doing the show. She is busy with her kids and other shows ‘Kate Plus 8’ and ‘Twist of Kate;.

The rumors began after her appearance on the late night talk show ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ following her elimination from ‘Dancing With the Stars’. On the talk show, Jimmy jokingly said that she will be the next ‘Bachelorette’.

Later, she appeared in another television morning talk show ‘Live with Regis & Kelly’. Here also Kelly suggested her to be on ‘Bachelorette’. But Kate replied saying that she would never be a part of any dating show. The topic turned more serious with the show’s own host Chris Harrison saying that Kate is a phenomenal choice for the Bachelorette. However, during a conversation with Ryan Seacrest in radio, he indicated that Kate has denied doing the show. In fact, the ‘American Idol’ host Ryan has also recommended Gosselin’s name for the same.

Steve McPherson, the president of the ABC network, said that Kate Gosselin is one of the competing names to star in The Bachelorette.

Following her public divorce from ex-husband Jon, Kate came back to television. But, as a mother of eight children, she has definitely taken a good decision as all the kids are all very young. They do not want to see their mother dating another man.

But rumors continue to spread that Kate may take up the show and she will be possibly paired with single fathers or bachelors.

However, the truth is known only to Kate Gosselin!
