New York City, July 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The mother of eight – Kate Gosselin is all set to record a holiday album as well. She is very keen to record her very own Christmas album, which would feature eight of her own backup singers as well.

According to PopEater a recording executive said that, “Kate is pitching a CD of holiday songs sung by herself and all her children. She sees herself as a modern day Maria from The Sound of Music, except this time the family singers won’t be the Von Trap family, they would be the Gosselins.”

Kate is trying very hard to remain in the public eye, after her divorce from Jon Gosselin. She was also a contestant on the show ‘Dancing With The Stars’. however she was booted out from the show pretty early, and her dancing moves were also not liked by the judges too much. She was criticized for her dancing moves, and was also often on the bottom rung of the show most of the time.

Another industry insider said that, Kate thinks of herself as a brand and is also smart enough to realize that her 15 minutes of fame won’t last forever, so she wants to cash it on, as much as possible.
