Aug 7 (IBNS) Kate Gosselin’s side of the story is all set to come to the fore as the mother of eight will appear on NBC’s Today show Monday (Aug 10), according to an advertisement.

On June 22, 2009, an extended 1-hour episode was aired. Jon and Kate Gosselin publicly announced that they were separating.

The day that the episode aired, the two met with Pennsylvania attorneys to finalize plans of divorce rather than separation. And as for the show, the two explained– in separate interviews– that “the show must go on”.

However, TLC announced on June 23, 2009 that the show will be placed on hiatus effective immediately. According to TLC, Jon and Kate have moved the focus away from the family, and the change in dynamic along with the production difficulties that have occurred due to the couple not living together make it unclear whether the show is still viable.

It will be the maiden moment Kate has spoken since her husband Jon made headlines for dating 22-year-old Hailey Glassman just 20 days after announcing he and his wife were splitting.

Kate Gosselin is used to confessing her thoughts. However, it usually happens from the comfort of her own oversized chair in her home on the set of her show.

Speculations tell that Kate would talk with Meredith Viera to discuss how she’s coping with her split from Jon Gosselin, dealing with the upcoming divorce, and raising her eight children under the media spotlight.
