Kate Gosselin barely makes it home for Mother’s Day celebrations
May 10th, 2011 - 11:03 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, May 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kate Gosselin barely made it on time to be with her eight children on Mothers’ Day. The reality star witnessed the Kentucky Derby on the weekend.
The Daily Mail published images of Kate rushing through the airport. She held flowers as she made her way out of the Reagan National airport. She was accompanied by her bodyguard Steve Neild. She tweeted shortly after reaching home. In series of tweets, Kate revealed how her family was observing the day. She tweeted that she did not reach home on time so she couldn’t cook for the family.
Shortly after reaching the house, Kate tweeted that, “Thanks for all the well wishes re mom day!” and added that, “Finally home and ready for my kiddies to arrive and get our celebration started…yay!”
Getting food from outside doesn’t seem to be a norm in Kate’s home. She revealed that the family only gets food from the restaurant only twice in a year.
Kate’s dressing at the Kentucky Derby was a contentious topic over the weekend. She sported a black and gold mini dress which was very revealing. This year’s Kentucky Derby was won by the horse Animal Kingdom. The Kentucky Derby is one of the most prestigious races in the United States.
