Kareena Walks Out Of Madhur’s Heroine For Friend’s Sake

September 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Bollywood babe Kareena Kapoor has a soft heart too and she cares a lot for her friends and this has been proved recently. She walked out of Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie Heroine only because the director behaved rudely to the father of her close friend Lovely Singh.
It is to inform the readers that Kareena had performed a popular item number “It’s Rocking’ in “Kya Love Story Hai’ only for the sake of her friendship with the film’s director Lovely Singh.
There is report of an unpleasant incident between Madhur Bhandarkar and Lovely Singh’s dad that angered Kareena enough to take this step. Singh’s father Amarjeet Singh, who is the business manager of Satish Kaushik, had an appointment with the director’s office for discussing some work. He was made to wait for more than three hours and then Madhur told him he could not see him as he was very busy.
A source was quoted saying that Lovely was very upset on hearing the incident. He was unhappy with the fact that Madhur kept his father waiting for hours despite having an appointment and later the director even refused to meet his father. This news dismayed Kareena and she informed that she would not work in Madhur’s Heroine. However, officially it was maintained that the reason would be the film’s postponement till next year.
However, if this is the truth then Kareena has shown a good example of friendship!
