August 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The popular designer duo of Kapil and Monika Arora are different from their ilk. The two have a design belief that portrays understated luxury and glamour. They began their journey after opening up a fashion retail store in the heart of New Delhi, under their own fashion label, simply called ”Kapil and Monika”.

Crafting steady designs and also rendering each outline with very fine quality, the duo have every reason to present their unique and fresh new bridal couture along with their collection of indo - western in a grand style at the popular Kolkata Couture Week. The KCW starts from the 10th of the next month and continues till the 13th of September.

At present, Kapil and Monika are retailing via the fashion store Kimaya. The duo has had the credit of having dressed up some of the biggest stars from Bollywood. They have dressed up everyone from Karisma Kapoor, Mahie Gill and even Prachi Desai.

This designer duo commands a loyal clientele that is based out of Indian Metros like Mumbai and New Delhi. Their designs have also bagged them customers from places as far and diverse as Dubai, Canada and London.

For the designers, the concept of femininity forms the core of their label along with styles that imply elegance as well as modernity. The duo also puts extreme emphasis on basics like fabric, cut and color.
