Los Angeles, Oct 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Kanye West, the American singer/rapper has been rumored to be killed in a car accident in which a Ferrari and a Porsche were involved. But it is a big hoax, set up by some hoax celebrity website. This has been a hot topic on the social networking and micro blogging site Twitter as well. It became the top trending topic there as ‘RIP Kanye’. But it is a hoax, set up by someone unscrupulous.
The rumor reports said that the wreck involved a red Ferrari and a white Porsche. According to it, “a Los Angeles Police Department officer who witnessed the wreck and saw a red Ferrari and a white Porsche “spinning out of control” The Ferrari “hit the curb and then collided with a pole.” The Porsche came to a stop at the scene for a few seconds and then sped away.”
Apparently the hoax started from Twitter and then spread like wildfire all over the Internet. It was the top trending topic on Twitter as ‘RIP Kanye.’ It also became the top number 1 topic on Google Trends some time ago too.
The thirty two year old and the Atlanta born singer was in the news earlier also several months ago, when he showed his resentment over honoring the famous country sinter Taylor Swift as the best singer all time of the year. He stormed out of the stage in a huff.
Kanye West has himself admitted that he was deeply influenced by Wu-Tang Clan in his style, and has said on numerous occasions that Wu-Tang rappers Ghostface Killah and Ol’ Dirty Bastard were some of his all-time favorites. Said by Kanye West, “Wu-Tang? My friends and me talk about this all the time… We think Wu-Tang had one of the biggest impacts as far as a movement. From slang to style of dress, skits, the samples. Similar to the [production] style I use, RZA has been doing that.”
RZA himself has appreciated the honesty shown by West and said that, “All good. I got super respect for Kanye. He came up to me about a year or two ago. He gave me mad praising and blessings… For people to say Wu-Tang inspire Kanye, Kanye is one of the biggest artists in the world. That goes back to what we say: ‘Wu-Tang is forever.’ Kanye is going to inspire people to be like him.” After hearing his work on The Blueprint, RZA claimed that a torch passing had occurred between him and West, saying, “The shoes gotta be filled. If you ain’t gonna do it, somebody else is gonna do it. That’s how I feel about rap today.”
