Kanye West wins best rap song, album awards

Los Angeles, Feb 13 (IANS) Rapper Kanye West walked away with best rap album for “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” and best song for “All of the lights”, from the same album, at the 54th Grammy awards here.
West’s album pipped “Watch The Throne” (Jay-Z and Kanye West), “Tha Carter IV” (Lil Wayne), “Lasers” (Lupe Fiasco) and Pink Friday (Nicki Minaj) to win the prestigious award.
However in the best rap song category, West beat “Black and yellow” (Rolling Papers), “I need a doctor” (Aftermath), “Look at me now” (F.A.M.E), “Otis” (Watch The Throne) and “The show goes on” (Lasers).
Jay-Z and Kanye West track “Otis” from the album “Watch The Throne” was awarded the best rap performance among “Look at me now”, “The show goes on”, “Black and yellow” and “Moment 4 life” (Nicki Minaj).
