Kanye West launches new design company

London, Jan 6 (IANS) Rapper Kanye West is expanding his business empire by launching a new design and innovation company named after his late mother.
The 34-year-old forayed into fashion last year when he launched at the Paris Fashion Week his DW line, named in honour of his mother Donda West.
He has now announced that his latest project is a design firm called Donda, reports contactmusic.com.
“Donda is a design company which will galvanise amazing thinkers and put them in a creative space to bounce there dreams and ideas… I am assembling a team of architects, graphic designers, directors musicians, producers… writers, publicist…(sic),” West posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
“Donda will be comprised of over 22 divisions with a goal to make products and experiences that people want and can afford… I want to put creatives in a room together with like minds that are all waaaay doper than me,” he further posted.
