Kanye West honored with MTV O Music Award

The rapper has been on Twitter for less than a year but his tweets are considered both hilarious and smart. The award is part of the new awards dubbed ‘MTV’s O Music Awards.’
MTV said it chose six tweets from West that were considered outstanding. The new award has been named Golden Kanye Award. West’s tweet which was posted back in October was chosen as the winner.
The winning tweet is, “I hate when I’m on a flight and I wake up with a water bottle next to me like oh great now I gotta be responsible for this water bottle.”
MTV came out with its new awards which is only concentrated on how singers use their online presence. Nicki Minaj picked the award for Favorite Animated GIF. The award was in recognition of the animated image that she posted online.
The event was streamed online live on the 28th of April. Viewers were given the chance to watch the event online at the awards official website OMusicAwards.com. There were other awards like Most Viral Dance, Funniest Music Short and NSFW Music Video!
