Kanye West ‘heads to Hindu retreat to reassess life’

Washington, Oct 10 (ANI): Rapper Kanye West is planning a getaway to an Indian religious retreat to reassess himself after the Taylor Swift incident at MTV Video Music Awards, say reports.
According to Star magazine, the star is planning to escape to spend a month at a Hindu ashram in Pondicherry, India.
He has also cancelled his joint tour with Lady GaGa.
“He feels terrible about hurting Taylor Swift and sees it as another sign that his life is going in the wrong direction since his mother died (Nov07),” Contactmusic quoted an insider as saying.
The 32-year-old singer attracted criticism when he had jumped onto the stage and snatched away the microphone from Taylor Swift, while the latter was making an acceptance speech for receiving the Best Female Video. (ANI)
