Sep 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In spite of the music looking forward to some more on stage drama at this year’s VMAs between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, the two stars kept to themselves throughout the ceremony. Taylor Swift’s performance, however, was preceded by a montage of last year’s on stage drama where the rapper had snatched the mic from her and claimed that Beyonce Knowles deserved the award.

The lyrics of the songs performed by both stars said it all. With Taylor Swift giving out the message of forgiveness and understanding, Kanye West exhibited his anger, directed towards his own self. Some of the lines of Taylor Swift’s latest single called ‘Innocent’ spoke about the second person who was still growing up at 32. The 32 year old rapper sang a song called ‘Runaway’ where he said that he was always unhappy with something and the public had been putting up with him for too long.

Kanye West suffered a huge downfall in the public eye after the incident last year. Some of the insiders feel that the rapper was not forgiven by the country singer and the song ‘Innocent’ was an answer to his over sized ego. According to some reports, even President Barack Obama had criticized the ‘Stronger’ star for his strange behavior on stage. The star studded night also held some other surprises in the form of winners and their dresses. Lady Gaga stole the show with her meat dresses which was made by joining fresh slices of raw meat. Yesteryear’s singing sensation Cher was seen in a black see through dress that managed to grab a lot of eyeballs.
